d in english.\nAnnotation\nData management and data management planning (D
MP) are now essential aspects of everyday research practice. As we move fu
rther into the era of Open Science (OS)\, it is increasingly important to
adopt sustainable approaches to managing research data. This seminar will
explore practical ways to strengthen team engagement and prepare for funde
r requirements such as data management plans. We will also discuss how fos
tering good data management practices can benefit managers\, supervisors\,
and principal investigators (PIs) by creating efficient\, transparent res
earch environments that save both time and resources.\n \nBenefits for at
tendees\, what they will learn\nParticipants will gain an understanding of
how effective data management can enhance the efficiency and success of t
heir projects and teams. They will also receive guidance on engaging their
teams proactively\, emphasizing the value of data management not merely f
or reporting purposes\, but as a strategic tool that contributes to the ov
erall quality and impact of research.\n \nLevel\nBeginner\, intermediate\
 n \nLanguage\nEnglish\n \nPrerequisites\nThe participants preferably wil
l be aware of the basic principles of open science. It is good if they are
aware of the data management requirements for their projects so they can
connect the information they will hear to their real use-cases.\n \nTutor

UCT Prague) as part of UCT’s data stewards support team. She is finalizi
ng her PhD in Chemical and Process Engineering at UCT Prague\, working in
the Bioengineering and Advanced Materials Laboratory. Georgia is actively
involved in both national and international initiatives that promote good
