Annotation
Data management planning is now a part of the everyday life of researchers. However a lot of us in research sometimes feel lost with all the requirements. In this seminar we will explore how a data management plan looks like, why it is useful and important for a project, and how researchers can be prepared to answer questions related to their datasets in the DMP.
Benefits for attendees, what they will learn
The participants will be guided through the advantages of a DMP and its value on being a living document. They will also gain insight on how to fill sections of the DMP like metadata standards, data formats and data transformation.
Level
no knowledge, beginner - all levels are welcome
Language
English
Prerequisites
The participants do not need prior knowledge. If they are already required to provide a DMP, it is good to be aware of the data management requirements for their projects (if any) so they can connect the information they will hear to their real use-case
