My research at the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague), where I graduated from Analytical and Physical Chemistry, and from Analytical Chemistry and Quality Engineering, focuses on the application of digital signal processing and machine learning to automate the processing and evaluation of in vivo Raman spectra, with the aim of diagnosing serious diseases such as colorectal and lung cancer.
In addition to my research and teaching at UCT Prague, I also serve as a faculty data steward. Together with colleagues from the Data Stewardship Support team, I provide methodological support to principal investigators of national and international grants in the area of research data management (RDM), helping them meet the open science (OS) requirements of funding agencies. I also provide methodological support and consultation on RDM and OS within the framework of the NCIP project at the National Library of Technology (NTK).
